June 21, 2018 – A fresh, distinctive trailer design awaits livestock owners with the introduction of Featherlite’s newly enhanced Featherlite livestock trailers, which are available now on dealership lots.
“The new side panel design adds even more strength and durability to our already heavy-duty stock trailers,” Brad Alden, Featherlite director of dealer sales, said.
The new design is effective on all livestock and combo trailer models as well as horse trailer Models 9651 and 9751. The exterior wall features a similar design to the current side panels but with a more slightly rugged appearance. In addition, the back side of the panels is more flat and smooth, making for an easier to clean wall.
In addition to the new side panels, Featherlite’s stock trailers also feature recent enhancements, including:
- A single piece, durable slam latch that offers a more secure hold and is safer for owners and livestock
- All-aluminum one-piece running boards with a rear taper
- Thicker rear cam lock hardware for added strength
- Single handle, easy-to-use drop gates allow for easier access
