Featherlite’s Model 1609 “Mod Pod” is versatile for hauling behind a wide variety of vehicles and with its compact design delivers a super fuel-efficient tow! Use it to haul bicycling, camping, hunting or fishing gear. Take it on your next vacation. Or use it for everyday hauling! Its rear ramp and flip-top roof give you easy access to your cargo no matter what you haul.
The compact Mod Pod measures 8’ long by 6’ wide with an inside height of 4’. The Mod Pod features a unique flip top roof, rear ramp and Featherlite Advantage wood floor. The Mod Pod is available with many options including colored side sheets, luggage tie down track, tool box and interior LED light.

Featherlite uses the pierce-and-roll rivet system in the fabrication of its roof to minimize water leakage. This system is also used by airplane manufacturers, and it fastens the aluminum sheets to each other without piercing the inner sheet. Water has a harder time entering the trailer, since no rivet hole fully pierces the trailer’s roof.
