8261 Livestock Trailer

The semi stock trailer Model 8261 is 8’6” wide with a length of 53’. Livestock on both decks are secure walking on the aluminum treadplate, and the entire trailer is safe on the 20k axles with air brakes. Livestock are loaded through a roll up rear door. Popular options include a rear ramp, electric dump valve and sprinkler system.

To make maneuvering your stock trailer easier and safer, an optional rear view camera and motion sensor is available. This option operates similar to what is found on selected vehicles by alerting you when the rear of the trailer is near an object or person.

The EZ Connector’s electrical connection system ensures a reliable connection so that lights and brakes will work each time regardless of the conditions. This high-tech plug for vehicles and trailers is magnetically attached, corrosion free and waterproof with a no-fail breakaway feature and lifetime limited warranty.

Firm-mat Flooring
Featherlite’s Firm-mat flooring completely seals your trailer’s floor and provides a padded, slip resistant surface that is impervious to liquids and eliminates the need for rubber mats. It’s also extremely easy to clean! A textured industrial liner designed for livestock, a ¼” thick smooth finish that’s ideal for tack rooms and mangers or a 1/2” thick textured option are available.

A more streamlined looking pin is optional to secure the center gate slam latch on Featherlite stock trailers.

Rumber Flooring
The Rumber® floor, which comes with a 10-year warranty, serves as a cushioning surface for livestock, giving them firmer footing and minimizing the risk of injury and stress on joints. It’s quieter for livestock when entering the trailer, will increase the value and life of the stock trailer due to its durability and is UV and water resistant. Rumber manufactures its flooring from 100% recycled tire rubber and plastics.

Slide-by Rear Door
The slide-by rear door is optional in lieu of the standard roll-up door.
