8541 Horse Trailer

Almost every aspect of horse trailer Model 8541 can be customized, from its width to the number of horses it can carry to its dressing room size. Add your own personal touches by equipping the outside with Featherlite’s polished “wave” side panels and your choice of graphics. A floorplan that includes 50" stalls and 7' 6" interior height is available for hauling big horses. There’s a reason this horse trailer is the most versatile trailer in the industry.

Featherlite Model 8541 gooseneck horse trailers are slant load trailers that can be customized to hold 2 to 6 horses. The length partially depends on the number of horses, although you can select any dressing room size. Length ranges from 15’ to 33’ while width can be 7’ or 7’6”. The horse area has rubber on the walls, as well as 3/4” rubber floor mats. The 8541 also features a side-load door on any trailer except the 2 horse option, a folding removable rear tack and drop down feed doors. Base specs are listed, but many options and customizations are available.

The ‘WOW Mat’ includes knobs strategically located underneath the rubber mats to give superior absorption and cushion to your horses. This means horses can be calmer during travel and experience less fatigue.

2” Thick Stall Pads
Featherlite’s optional stall pads are now 2” thick. This provides even more cushion, protection and safety for horses during travel.

Air Flo Divider
The Air Flo divider option features vertical bars on the shoulder separator in lieu of a solid panel, allowing for more air flow for your horses. Also available on telescoping divider option.

Air Flo Saddle Rack
An Air Flo saddle rack, designed with aluminum piping, is optional in your horse trailer.

Aluminum Wheels
Stylish aluminum wheels are optional on your horse trailer. Color choices include dark grey or silver.

Back Lit Feather
Add uniqueness and style to your Featherlite horse trailer with the optional back lit feather on the front of your trailer. This will make the highly recognizable feather and your trailer stand out even more going down the road or pulling into your next horse show!

Boot Box
Add a boot box to your dressing room for additional storage space.

Butt or Chest Bar
Featherlite horse trailers are available with butt or chest bars with padding on curbside or streetside of the trailer.

Camera & Rear Motion Sensor
To make maneuvering your horse trailer easier and safer, an optional rear view camera and motion sensor is available. This option operates similar to what is found on selected vehicles by alerting you when the rear of the trailer is near an object or person.

Dual & Tri-Colored Side Sheets
Stylish dual and tri-colored side sheets are available on Featherlite horse trailers. Various color choices available.

Electric Assist Landing Gear
Make stabilizing the trailer easier with an electric assist for the landing gear.

EZ Connector
The EZ Connector’s electrical connection system ensures a reliable connection so that lights and brakes will work each time regardless of the conditions. This high-tech plug for vehicles and trailers is magnetically attached, corrosion free and waterproof with a no-fail breakaway feature and lifetime limited warranty.

Feed Bag
Add a feed bag with tie rings to your horse trailer. Note: Feed bag shown in straight load trailer. Feed bags in slant loads are triangular and come with 3 tie rings.

Firm-mat Flooring
Featherlite’s Firm-mat flooring completely seals your trailer’s floor and provides a padded, slip resistant surface that is impervious to liquids and eliminates the need for rubber mats. It’s also extremely easy to clean! A 1/4” thick smooth finish that’s ideal for tack rooms and mangers or a 1/2” thick textured option is available.

Halogen Load Light with Switch
12-volt halogen load light with switch makes loading easier. Available in multiple quantities.

Interior L.E.D. Strip Lighting
Stylish L.E.D. interior strip lighting makes the horse area brighter.

Keyless Entry
